Assembly and installation
1. Connection to a tripod
Hold up the tripod, at the top you can see a rectangular gimbal and a wrench to fix the gimbal. Turn the wrench 90º, then you can push the gimbal in the direction of the wrench, and then you can take out the gimbal upward. A butterfly swivel ring can be pulled from the back of the gimbal to turn the screw on the front, and screw this screw into the screw hole at the bottom of the telescope to tighten. (1) Indoor use
Take out the photoelectric smoke measuring telescope and the power supply of the host, plug the host power supply into the power socket of the photoelectric smoke measuring telescope, you can charge the photoelectric smoke measuring telescope, and turn on the power switch to use.
When using the printer, connect the printer's printing line to the photoelectric smoke measuring telescope. Be sure to turn off the power of the telescope before connecting. Finally, the printer is connected to the printer's power.
(2) Outdoor use
a. Since both the photoelectric smoke measuring telescope and the printer have batteries, as long as they are fully charged the day before the test, they can be used without AC power when going out.
b. Because the photoelectric smoke measuring telescope has data storage space, it can store 84 sets of data. Therefore, when going out, there is no need to bring a printer.

Measurement methods
1. Install the instrument on a tripod, adjust the height and pitch and fix it, rotate the objective tube to adjust the working distance, observe through the eyepiece, make the smoke image clear, and put the smoke center in the small hole of the eyepiece observation center (black spots) .
2. Turn on the power, (connect the 9V / 700mA power plug) and press the switch on the rear panel of the instrument. If the battery is powered and the power is insufficient, the third power indicator lights up, please charge.
3. Benchmark:
Adjust the orientation of the instrument so that the lens is aimed at the sky background near the smoke. That is, the small hole (black spot) in the center of the field of view is not covered by smoke imaging. Press the main menu to select background measurement. The instrument automatically sets the internal parameters and uses the displayed value as the main data for calculating the photoelectric Ringer diagram.
4. Measure smog Ringerman level:
Adjust the orientation of the instrument so that the small hole in the center of the field of view is completely covered by smoke. Press the main menu-continuous measurement. The display begins to show Ringerman class. During the measurement process, after pressing the pause button, the smoke measurement is suspended. The function menu is displayed: menu, print, save, continuous. At this time, you can choose to save, that is, save the result in memory. And display the save number. If you choose to print, you can print the results.
5. Points to note for measuring the Ringerman rating of smoke:
As the weather keeps changing, please pay attention to constantly measuring the sky background value.
6. Printing: In addition to the single printing in the middle of the measurement, the results can be printed out all at once after the measurement.

Simple maintenance
1. Cleaning:
Do not stain the surface of the objective lens and eyepiece of QT201B Ringman photoelectric smoke measuring telescope during use. The dust on it can be blown away with a medical ear-washing ball; when there is no ear-washing ball, it can also be wiped off with a clean brush or a soft cloth. For mouth foam or oil stains that are accidentally contaminated during use, use clean fine linen or absorbent cotton with a little absolute alcohol and ether to gently wipe, and pay attention to protect the anti-reflection film on the lens surface from scratches. Dust and other parts of the instrument can be wiped off with a soft cloth.
2. Save:
QT201B Ringman photoelectric smoke measuring telescope is a precision optical instrument. It has been rigorously adjusted at the factory. Do not disassemble it by yourself to avoid reducing the accuracy of the instrument. After the instrument is used, it should be stored in a fixed position in the special bag of the instrument in time. During the rainy season or when it is not used for a long time, you can put the Ringman smoke measuring telescope into the drying cylinder and replace the desiccant in time to avoid corrosion and mildew of the optical parts.
3. Charging:
Plug in the 9V / 400mA power supply to start charging, the charging indicator light (middle light), after 4 hours (charged 70% of the power), the charging indicator light is off, enter the slow charge state, after 8 hours, fully charged.
